Designed to embody the understated elegance befitting a Hollywood executive, this estate in the heart of Los Angeles is a masterpiece of refined sophistication and Californian charm. The home welcomes visitors with grand, stone winding staircases and an awe-inspiring entrance featuring double-height ceilings adorned with a 16-candle chandelier. Striking statement furniture and large-scale artwork further enhance its commanding yet relaxed presence, epitomising the confident spirit of California living.

Our approach was to enhance the uniquely Californian architecture and the warm, “doors-open” lifestyle of the Calabasas Hills while maintaining an atmosphere of sophistication, by creating openings on all the rear walls that were previously unseen from inside the house. Seamless visual and physical connections to the abundant outdoor spaces became a key focus, creating a harmonious flow between indoor and outdoor living.

Comfort and openness guided the design, tied together by a consistent connection to nature. This was achieved through the use of wood-centric furniture, natural stone tiling, and richly textured finishes, resulting in a home that feels effortlessly luxurious yet deeply grounded in its surroundings.
